JOB OVERVIEW

Senarath Group is a diversified business group engaged in construction, real estate, and property development projects across Sri Lanka. We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Real Estate & Property Development division.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain accurate financial records for real estate and property projects.

Prepare and analyze project cost reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Handle supplier, contractor, and client account reconciliations.

Support financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Assist with project-related financial feasibility studies.

Prepare timely management reports for decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Requirements:

Partly qualified in CA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA, or equivalent (fully qualified candidates are also welcome).

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and reporting standards.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

Experience:

2+ years’ experience in accounting; experience in real estate or property development is an advantage.
